$275.00

Rockstar series is a tribute to trailblazer, powerful, resilient, charismatic humans or animals, made using pebbles. Some seaglass or other media like acrylics may be used to complete the context.

This artwork is a tribute to a Kathak dancer. Kathak is a major North Indian classical dance form from Uttar Pradesh, originating from ancient nomadic bards known as Kathakars, or storytellers, who enacted tales from epics. It is characterized by fast, percussive footwork (tatkar), rapid spins (chukkars), and intricate hand gestures, blending, in its modern form, both Hindu temple traditions and Mughal courtly influences.
High-quality Kathak dancers are characterized by a combination of technical precision, immense grace, and deep emotional expression (abhinaya), often cultivated through years of rigorous training.

The dancer is made using handpicked pebbles and painted with acrylics. The frame is inspired by the Indian Master artist of Mughal era Ustad Mansoor.

One-of-a-kind heirloom quality conversation piece that ensures exclusivity in your art collection, with no reproductions & no prints.

Presented in a shadow box (16×20×1.5 cu inches) that enhances depth and allows for safe display options.
