Another year gone, and a new one ready to arrive unabashedly.

Is it mandatory to wish "Happy New Year"

I would rather wish a prayer for the children of this world- May the new year bring peace, happiness and safety for all children across the planet.

As the indigenous saying goes: Every child matters.

Years and decades and centuries gone have been heartless and brutal for millions of children, all cross the globe either due to conflicts, wars, climate change or poverty. The first and worst victims in all calamities, man made or natural, are children - and at no fault of theirs.

So I pray that may there be some miracle that makes the coming year 2025 more prosperous, peaceful, just and secure for all the children of the world.

Prayers that the coming year is kinder to kids at least. I have given up on adults. So, sorry no prayers for them. Sorry, but no sorry.

Hoping To Reach the Stars.

The two innocent kids are looking through the glass on the new year fireworks in the sky and hoping in their heart of hearts that the coming year will bring these stars in their laps...and the dreams that their sparkly eyes are seeing will.come true.

The naughty kitty in their home jumps over the table to also watch the fireworks, dropping the pot with cactus plant, and the sleepy butterfly also wakes up startled.

The seaglass used is stained with alcohol ink. The glasses used are one of my favourite reading glasses that broke.
