Habitoi silk scarf, light weight with subtle sheen
Handpainted with professional silk dyes.

Motif: The scarf is inspired by Truck Art in South Asian. The trucks are decorated with colorful trims and motifs. The owners ( mostly also drivers) also name their vehicles as a beloved. This one is names Sarhad ki Laila ( Frontier’s Juliet). The trucks in Pakistan bear intersting quotes in Urdu. This one says: Dekho Magar Pyar Sey.
Painted with colorful and vibrant dyes. Beyond the gutta limited motifs, I let the dyes flow free across the silk to create unique patterns.
Steam fixed. Colors are fast. Will last your lifetime if used with tender loving care.
They are one of a kind piece. As they are neither AI designed, nor mass produced, nor screen printed, you will not find another scarf of this design.
Variations in colors in different picture are due to light effects- clicked in white light, yellow light and sunlight.
Care instructions:
Gently hand wash with soap, rinse in cold water, and let dry naturally. Iron on silk setting - do not twist or rub. Do not dryclean if gutta is used.
PS: Allow us a few days after we recieve the order, so the edges can be hand rolled.
