Motif: The scarf depicts the vibrant aurora borealis( Northern Lights) somewhere in deep winter nights of Northern Europe. Aurora Borealis are a fascinating spectable to watch in real. And it makes an excellent wearable art, using the bright French dyes in bright, neon colors on a soft smooth silk fabric. Honestly the photographs do not do justice to the real piece.
Painted with colorful and vibrant dyes. Beyond the gutta limited image of Bijli, I let the dyes flow free across the silk to create unique patterns.
Steam fixed. Colors are fast. Will last your lifetime if used with tender loving care.
They are one of a kind piece. As they are neither AI designed, nor mass produced, nor screen printed, you will not find another scarf of this design.
Variations in colors in different picture are due to light effects- clicked in white light, yellow light and sunlight.
Care instructions:
Gently hand wash with soap, rinse in cold water, and let dry naturally. Iron on silk setting - do not twist or rub. Do not dryclean if gutta is used.
