Motif: Chameli Rani is a young girl who lives in a village in South Asia. She is extremely enamoured by the Bollywood films she watches on her smart phone, which was brought to her by her brother working in Dubai. She loves to dance on filmi songs and shares them on TikTok. Her friends say she resembles some Bollywood actress.
Painted with colorful and vibrant dyes that are as energentic as Chameli herself. Beyond the gutta limited image of Bijli, I let the dyes flow free across the silk to create unique patterns.
Steam fixed. Colors are fast. Will last your lifetime if used with tender loving care.
They are one of a kind piece. As they are neither AI designed, nor mass produced, nor screen printed, you will not find another scarf of this design.
Variations in colors in different picture are due to light effects- clicked in white light, yellow light and sunlight.
Care instructions:
Gently hand wash with soap, rinse in cold water, and let dry naturally. Iron on silk setting - do not twist or rub. Do not dryclean if gutta is used.
PS: Allow us a few days after we recieve the order, so the edges can be hand rolled.
