The story is original and my own and highlights importance of sharing and more importantly of wild flora to attract bees.

Once upon a time there lived a cuddly, chubby Teddy bear called Winnie-The-Pooh in a home which had a beautiful lawn. It's owner was obsessed with mowing lawn every few weeks and hence did not let wild flowers grow. As a result very few bees and butterflies visited their garden.

Winnie-The-Pooh found this very boring. First there were no bees or butterflies to chase and second the bees made no beehive on the tree.

He had an idea. He reached out to a queen bee in the wilderness and promised her he will spread wild flower seeds in his lawn, and invited her to make a hive on the tree in his house. Since queen bee was his friend, she promised him that if he does so, they will not only make a hive, but also share some honey with him.

So Winnie-The-Pooh collected wild flower seeds in the fall from the wilderness and spread them all around his houses backyard. When the winter ended and spring arrived, these wild flowers began to grow and the owner noticed there were bees and butterflies again visiting her backyard. She loved those colorful flowers so much that she decided not to mow the backyard this year.

Winnie-The-Pooh was super happy. One he got to play with butterflies and bees. Second he knew when the bees had collected enough honey, the queen bee will share some with him.

When the time arrived, queen bee asked him to bring his honey pot to get the honey. The clever, greedy Winnie -The-Pooh took the biggest honey pot and went towards the hive.

Queen bee knew what he was upto. She came down and spoke to Winnie-The-Pooh, "My dear friend, I promised to share some of my honey. But this pot is too big. I cannot give you all my honey."

Winnie-The-Pooh was disappointed. But he realized he can't have it all. So he agreed to get some.

After all sharing is caring.
